CHEFS Graduation 2023


Date is set for 6 p.m. May 19, 2023, Rehearsal May 18, 2022

(Back-up date is May 11/ 12, 2023)

Location will be determined soon.  

CHEFS provides the ceremony, cake and punch reception, and printed color graduation program.  We will order a cap, gown, and tassel for you and hire a photographer.  The estimated costs for those items are:

  • Event fee - $55/$75

  • Cap/Gown - Estimate $20-25

  • Photographer (estimate $50-70)

Here is a description of our Graduation Ceremony order:

  • Welcome

  • Processional (Graduates walk in to Pomp & Circumstance)

  • Pledge of Allegiance

  • Invocation

  • Introduction of Speaker

  • Speaker

  • Optional special performance of students (student speeches/singing)

  • Rose ceremony

  • Introduction of Graduates and Presentation of Diplomas

  • Slideshow  

  • Benediction

  • Presentation of Graduates (cap throw) 


  • Reception immediately following where your guests can see the graduation boards and enjoy refreshments.  


Deadlines:

  • Payment for caps & gowns October 3, 2022.
  • Special talent submissions are due Oct. 3, 2022.  
  • Parent/senior meeting is scheduled for January 19, 2023.  Please register within the calendar.
  • Payment for graduation ceremony is due by January 30, 2023.
  • Program information and pictures for slideshow are due by March 15, 2023.  Please plan on 10-20 pictures of your graduate(s).
  • Payment for photographer is located on a separate event within the calendar and is due April 1, 2023.
