Taste of History
Step back in time with our "Taste of History" event! Students have been hard at work researching various historical topics, including significant people, events, and countries. Each student will present a project board filled with fascinating information about their chosen topic. Topics do not just have to be from history. Geography, literature, and/or other area of interest are welcome.
The "taste" part of the event comes from the unique culinary experience provided by the students. Each project will feature a food item that corresponds to their topic. For example, a project on the Romans might include samples of bread and olive oil. Students should bring enough food for approximately 50 small samples. CHEFS will provide napkins and plates for serving.
Come enjoy an educational and delicious journey through history as we celebrate the hard work and creativity of our students. We look forward to seeing you there!
You can sign up to attend or to participate. Families can do projects together! There is no fee for this event! When you sign up it will ask if each partipant has a project, that is so I know how many tables/spots we will need Below you can see some examples of previous years boards.
